Hi, I'm Alan. I'm a physician graduated from the Bahiana School of Medicine and Public Health (EBMSP), specialized in Neurology at the Hospital do Servidor Público Estadual de São Paulo of the Instituto de Assistência Médica ao Servidor Público Estadual (HSPE-IAMSPE) and in Public Health from the Instituto de Saúde Coletiva da Universidade Federal da Bahia (ISC-UFBA).

In the graduation I was a scholarship holder in the Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC) of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) at the Gonçalo Moniz Research Center (CPqGM-BA) of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz). I am currently a fellow in Neurology of Behavior and Cognition at the Escola Paulista de Medicina da Universidade Federal de São Paulo (EPM-UNIFESP) and a Master's student in Neurology and Neurosciences at Universidade Federal de São Paulo.

I am interested in the study of dementias and dedicate part of my time in research projects in the area and in the care of neurological patients. I am committed to equity in health, responsible scientific dissemination, and to the education of medical professionals and multiprofessional health teams.
